Should We Save Polar Bears? - by Kayla

Imagine a world without polar bears, in the arctic there would be seals laying all over, no polar bear to be seen. You would see seals starving to death because they ate all of the fish.  Are you able to imagine a world without polar bears?

I think that we should save polar bears, because if they go extinct the food chain will break down. Also because we are causing global warming, that means we are basically means we are tearing polar bears families apart.

One reason why we should save polar bears is that if all of the polar bears go extinct, there won’t be anyone to eat the seals. Then the seals will overpopulate, and they won’t have enough food to eat. Then eventually the seals will starve to death. The solution to keeping the food chain healthy is to to keep polar bears alive! The good news about that is that i did a survey and 100%of the people that did the survey wanted to save polar bears so that means the community does support keeping polar bears alive.

another reason why we should save polar bears is that polar bears are going extinct is, because we are causing global warming. Global warming is making the water in the arctic warmer and starting to make the ice melt, so the polar bear families are getting separated. In an article I REAd by greenpeace, exclaims that “it’s no mystery that polar bears are in trouble. Scientist  and experts at a recent international meeting claim that two-thirds of the worlds polar bears will be gone by 2050”

how can we save polar bears? Well, we can save polar bears by not causing global warming. But it is pretty hard to stop global warming, but you can do some little things and that will make a huge difference and you will be saving polar bears!!! Here are some ways that you can help stop global warming, first you can start to recycle that can help a lot! Once you get the hang of that you can use some reusable water bottles, if you don’t that is ok you can just recycle the plastic ones, such as poland springs water bottles!I hope that I have convinced you to want to save polar bears!!!!
