Should there be animal testing?  What do you think? Well I believe that there should be no more animal testing. But why? Because it is cruel, unhealthy for the whole world and unhealthy for animals.

I believe that there should be no animal testing because it is very cruel.

It all started when people came up with these ways to dye their hair, furniture, make beauty products for themselves and make medicines to make people who are sick safe again. That’s when cosmetic and household products were created. But then, people who used this dye, makeup and medicine got horribly sick. Even the medicines didn’t work on them! Many died. People still wanted all these products. These were just very crucial for them, making them look good and helping others when not able to help themselves.  That’s where animal testing came in.

This is a lot like animal poaching. When people created their products they experimented them on animals. And trust me it was painful!

Cosmetics were rubbed into rabbits eyes. Pesticides were force fed to dogs.Mice were injected with toxins.It was the utmost cruelty ever! None of the animals even got anything to reduce their suffering! It was not fair!

94% of animal testing is used to determine the safety of cosmetic and household products.50% of all animals used in cosmetic testing die two to three weeks after experiments.

90% of people I’ve interviewed believe that there should be no animal testing.

Animal testing for medicines is fine because it’s the only way but cosmetic and household products are no excuse! Animal cruelty must stop!

Another reason why there should be no animal testing is that it is unhealthy for the whole world.

For example, while people are doing animal testing they aren’t realizing that they are hurting the world. We need animals. They help us keep our world in place. Dogs are good animals. They are kind and helpful animals.  Dogs can calm you down, making you feel less stressed. But as you all know, dogs too are part of animal testing.

Another reason why there shouldn’t be any animal testing is that it’s unhealthy for animals.  

For example like I said before that we are torturing animals to determine the safety of our products. And it’s unhealthy for animals. Animals have been tortured into eating poisons that they can’t overcome. And people give nothing to reduce their suffering. So they have no choice but to succumb to death.

Also 2.8 million animals need a chance in life which many people have been taking away from them to ensure the safety of their products.

This is not fair and has to stop! There should be an alternative to this!

Taking away cosmetics is not the answer because I have friends who love them. But are you sure animal testing is really the answer?  Perhaps check in with the FDA and have them determine the safety themselves.
