Math
In Mathew have started a new unit on fractions. We have been learning how to split and name fractions. We've learned games about fractions.
Writing
In writing we have been studying about how to write poetry. We look at objects with poets eyes to write poems about them. We have been rereading rethinking and revising.
Reading
In reading we have been looking at poetry. We have chose our favorite poems and sharing them with the whole class.
Science
In science we have been studying our catipillers and planting fast plants. We have been sharing what we think with the class.
Social studies
In social studies we learned about India and how people live there. We have looked at pictures and wrote what we noticed. We have looked at schools and how kids go to school and how they get there and what they learn. Also we watched videos about schools in India. Some kids have to get there by boat.
