Focused 2nd Grade Workers
Hi Everyone,
As we continue our hard work in 2nd grade, we have already started thinking ahead to third grade! We're practicing our skills at being focused and "Right There" readers and writers so we can prepare to become focused and skilled third graders. We've thought about strategies to keep us focused on our work, how to keep ourselves from being distracted by others, and how to solve our own problems.
Today, I started recognizing a Focused Reader or Focused Writer that showed me that they can work hard through the whole Workshop period. Today's Reader stayed focused in his book, stayed in one spot, participated with his group during group discussion, and showed his wonderful focus! Great job, Elliot!
