What's Going On in Room 23 by Tanya and Sophie
In reading we are talking about our characters and their feelings. We shared with our reading partners and the class. Some popular characters are captain underpants and bad kitty. We are also getting together in some book groups to talk about books and our books and of course, their characters!
In math we are learning to solve word problems using different strategies and solving them fluently and accurately. We are also making our own word problems to go inside a book for everyone to solve.
In writing we are finishing up our unit in opinion writing and we are publishing our pieces to put in a big book of opinions. We will bring those home soon!
In social studies we have just finished our unit about Ghana. We learned about their flag and Emanuel Ofoso Yeboah. Next we will start a unit in science about changes.
